this was super cutee!! the puking stuff, hot. the pair of them, adorable. i really dig the sound design and the overall visceral feel and descriptions of the act and stuff. the character development for them worked rly well and i care immediately about the pair of them. this was a fun read <3
It's got zombies.
It's got puking.
Truly, this VN accomplished precisely what it set out to do!
The art is endlessly endearing; despite usually not caring much for zombies, I found myself feeling completely charmed by our big, sad, slow-witted undead protagonist, heheheh~ The medium is used to great effect here as well, particularly with how the backgrounds undulate and change throughout the various scenes in response to Zero's mental shocks.
I also greatly appreciated the sound design! I love a good underspoken ambient soundscape punctuated by the occasional sharper moments, heheh~ As for the writing, I feel it does a great job at fleshing out the main girls despite its brevity, not to mention the potency of the Main Event—it awoke a new fetish that had been heretofore lurking deep within me...
That is to say, you've succeeded in making me worse with this VN.

flipping between drab colours to blindingly bright ones was great and totally draws you in, i feel so much was said about these characters in so little of words. great job to the team!!
A well-scoped game that focuses on the budding relationship between necromancer and zombie. Pretty good.
this was just absolutely adorable
I liked the varied visual style (especially the brighter colorful sections!), the sfx really caught me off guard and elevated the experience a bunch hehehe
the obvious parallels to dysphoria and how yuri can save you from it was really cute too
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! i was terrified working with/requesting the SFX that they'd go overboard or be inappropriate, so i'm glad to hear they had the grounded, gross effect we wanted
slaps zero's freakishly tall head. this girl can fit everything in her. dysphoria, dissociation, trauma-based fawn response, and getting validation from a short girl that calls you disgusting and tickles your uvula
I loved the character designs and atmosphere of this so much. The usage of colors, the subtle changes in facial expressions, and the... hollow? and metallic? feeling of the BGM really set the scene. That and the rawness of the titular scene were a nice contrast to a surprisingly cute story.
thank you so much!! i got to work alongside an absolutely INCREDIBLE team of friends to do this, and the work they put out was nothing short of miraculous. funny enough, the color scheme / palette were actually the second thing we worked out (right after the basic premise of "trans zombie gets her throat fingered without the ability to give consent")
I SIGNED ON LATE so obviously i only had a vague idea going in about the story and characters and you all did a fantastic job. The character designs are soooooooooo cute and the characters themselves are really compelling just from the slice so far. I actually am kind of an emetophobe but mostly for IRL, uh, emesis, and the bit here still managed to come off as really hot to me which I think is a solid achievement. I just really appreciate when a piece of writing/art conveys the compelling cuteness of something even to people who aren’t necessarily into it.
Also I said this to you personally but every time Zero says she’s not cute I want to cuteness aggress her more.
you know, i think i've gotten that comment a few times, re: "this was still hot even though i don't like it/have a phobia?" and every time my ego grows like six sizes. soon i will not fit indoors because i'll need a throne that people carry around
anyway zero deserves to be bullied. tell her how cute and pretty she is, make her spiral, and then start kicking her when she's down. <3

It's a game that does a lot with what it has, both managing to deliver something fulfilling by itself while also feeling like the start of something much bigger.
I'm one to play my visual novels windowed, but the writing and especially the visuals got me so invested that I just had to put it on fullscreen to get even more out of it.
The art in general is just great. Character sprites are cute and full of charm, the CGs are gorgeous with their explosion of colors, and even the backgrounds do a lot of work establishing the moody vibe.
Cassia being so small on the screen gives you a feeling that something is wrong, and the payoff to that being the reveal of how huge the protagonist is just left me with a dumb smile on my face.
Now, perhaps most importantly, the game absolutely delivers on the titular scene, which actually caught me off guard.
Went in blind and thought "Zombie Puke" was just a cool title to match the aesthetics, but sure enough, there is a zombie, and she does puke. And it's really GOOD.
The way the scene is portrayed ("good girl", Me...?-chan calling Cassia "master", the little whimper and so on) does make it fetish-y, but even if you're the sort of person who's not into that stuff , the game's already got you hooked so badly to the point that you can't help but take in every little nasty, yet tantalizing detail, it's great.
It feels like a scene that works both as a little treat to the freaks, while also being disturbing enough to fit in with the rest of the game.
I like the their dynamics too. At first I was a bit iffy on the protagonist being so submissive, but as the story goes on, you do get the feeling that this way of behaving might be a result of an already meek person being reanimated as someone's puppet, someone's plaything.

From what I have seen here, it's a tale I'd enjoy sitting down to read more of. Poking at the game's files, I can confidently say that Lillia can step on me.

hearing all this from you is beyond flattering - thank you so, SO much for your feedback! everyone in the discord has been rotating this comment like a rotisserie chicken. and also, i'm really glad someone noticed that zero's behavior is absolutely part fawn response, part forcible. we had to cut so much of the juicy, awful backstory that i was worried it'd just come across as non-toxic meet cute :'(
you're absolutely right that we have more planned, and while we don't have quite as imposing of a deadline as the jam gave us we're still excited to give more. (lillia was originally intended to play a role, even in the cut down version; we decided to dramatically narrow the scope and get that polished instead.)

thank you so much! unfortunately, we had to cut the spiciest parts (backstory and progression) to not grow out of scope, but we're all interested in continuing to work on the project and get the full, gross story out!
(still cute gross though. i mean, look at them. how could they NOT be cute)
